It's an odd one isn't it? Who wants to be associated with being or having an UGLYFACE? Surprisingly, quite a few people.
People ask us all the time, 'Why UGLYFACE?' or 'What does UGLYFACE even mean?'
The truth is, it means something a little different to everyone. Some are tired of the typical ‘pretty face’ marketing and want something real. Others are all about building their dream physique and couldn’t care less about looking pretty in the process. And then there are those who hit the gym hard enough to make those ‘ugly faces’ on every rep.
At UGLYFACE, we’re about more than just looks—we’re a lifestyle brand that takes "valuing what’s on the inside" directly to the supplement industry.
We’re bold, fun, and definitely a little rogue, but we’re serious where it matters: in our formulas.

Cam has had his fingers in many pies - studying business, commerce, physiotherapy (although none to completion). This background in business & health science and being a passionate gym rat and supplement aficionado, led him to the realization that in New Zealand, and ultimately globally, there is a serious lack of transparency, innovation, and honesty in the supplement space.

If you've seen a particularly wild video or ad of ours, Jamie has probably had his mischievous paws all over it. With a background as the head honcho of a marketing agency, Jamie knows what excites consumers, how to build strong communities, and as a self-proclaimed "sucker for good marketing", has a great talent for spotting semi-shady marketing tactics used by some of the brands in this space!
