PURE MICRONISED CREATINE MONOHYDRATE

UGLYFACE® CREATINE

The most researched supplement there is, in a form you'll actually keep taking. 5g a day - unflavoured to mix with your shakes, or flavoured so you genuinely enjoy it every day!

Pick your flavour: 100 servings per tub
Unflavoured & versatile for literally anything!

Tell Me More

Most creatine is the cheapest, grittiest version the brand could find.

They buy low-grade 80-mesh powder - big, coarse, sand-like particles - because it's cheap. You tip it in your shaker, it sinks, and you spend the next minute crunching wet powder like you nosedived at the beach. Then the undissolved stuff sits in your gut, pulls water in, and you get the cramps and bloating everyone blames on creatine.

Those issues aren't creatine. They're cheap creatine.

⚗️ Why monohydrate, and nothing else

No creatine HCl. No "pH-balanced". Decades of research and hundreds of peer-reviewed studies land on the same molecule every single time - creatine monohydrate. Everything else is a way to charge more for less evidence, it's just unnecessary if you ask us.

5g per serve. 5g is the most supported dose, and the dose that saturates your muscles so they can recycle ATP and do more work.

🧊 Micronised 200-mesh, not 80

Mesh is how finely the powder is ground. Most creatine sits around 80 mesh. Ours is 200 - less than half the particle size.

It won't vanish completely like sugar, because nothing that's genuinely creatine does. But it goes in cleanly and stays there instead of turning into sludge at the bottom of your glass. That's the difference between drinking your creatine and chewing it (if you wanted to chew it you'd buy gritty creatine gummies no?).

🍓 Flavoured or unflavoured, genuinely your call

Unflavoured - nothing in it but creatine monohydrate. Stack it with your STIM, PUMP, AMINOS or protein without touching the taste. 100 serves.

Strawberry & Island Breeze - for anyone who'd rather drink it on its own in cold water. Light and refreshing, not syrupy. Strawberry is sweet and juicy - Island Breeze is tropical with a subtle coconut note. 70 serves. Don't blame us if you start chugging this throughout the day just for fun, it tastes that good.

Key Ingredients

Just one ingredient🎯

Creatine Monohydrate - 5,000mg per serve: 200 mesh. Assayed at 100.2% against a USP specification of 98–102% (this means it's hella pure)

That's the entire list for Unflavoured. No fillers, no anti-caking agents, nothing bulking out the tub that you don't need.

Strawberry and Island Breeze add natural flavour and sweetener (sucralose & ace k).

All variants, flavoured & unflavoured, deliver 5g of creatine monohydrate per scoop.

How To Use

💧 Every day
One scoop (5g) in 400–500ml of water. Every day, including rest days. Saturation is the whole mechanism, and skipping days will impact the benefits!

⚖️ Or size it to you
5g suits most people. But more muscle needs more creatine to saturate it, so if you want to be precise, work on 0.1g per kg of bodyweight, rounded up:

60kg → 6g - a heaped scoop
80kg → 8g - a scoop and a half
100kg → 10g - two scoops

Nothing goes wrong at 10g. If you're between sizes or you'd rather not have to do math, just go to 10g to be safe!

Timing doesn't matter
Before, after, mid-afternoon, whenever. There's not really an "optimal" window. The only thing that matters is that you actually take it, so pick a time you'll remember.

🌡️ If it isn't mixing
Our creatine is micronised 200-mesh and very fine, but the reality is creatine is only slightly soluble - that's not dictated by quality but by chemistry. Two fixes:

- More water. 500ml dissolves it far more easily than 300ml.
- Warmer water. Room temperature or warmer will dissolve much more.

Both also sort out any stomach discomfort, which is almost always undissolved powder rather than the creatine itself.

Loading (optional)
Want it working sooner? 5g four times a day for the first 5–7 days, then back to your normal dose. That gets you saturated in about a week instead of three to four. You don't have to, you'll end up with the same benefits you just get there a bit faster.

🧠 The brain bit
Your brain is about 2% of your bodyweight and burns around 20% of your energy - and it runs on the same phosphocreatine system your muscles do. Which is why a supplement that spent forty years in gymbros bags has quietly become one of the most interesting things in cognitive research.

The effects show up best with: people running on bad sleep, and people who don't eat much meat. If that's you, this is the part to pay attention to.

Most of that research uses more than 5g a day. It's newer ground than the muscle science, so treat it as an experiment rather than a promise - try 2 to 4 serves spread across the day is the range being studied or if your gut can handle it, smash a megadose in one go.

THE MOST UNIVERSAL SUPPLEMENT

No seriously, everyone should have it. These guys already do:

WHAT DO YOU WANT OUT OF IT?

Creatine has been studied for fifty years and hundreds of peer-reviewed trials — there is no supplement anyone knows more about. Pick what matters to you.

BUILD MORE MUSCLE FROM THE SAME TRAINING

Creatine does not build muscle for you. It lets you do more of the work that does - an extra rep or two per set, session after session, which compounds over months.

Creatine alongside resistance training beating resistance training alone is one of the most consistently replicated findings in all of sports nutrition.

PUSH THROUGH THAT LAST REP OR 100M

Short maximal efforts run on ATP (adenosine triphosphate) and you can run out of it quick. Creatine tops that tank up and speeds how quickly it refills between efforts.

Which is why the difference shows up in the back half of a sprint and the last rep of a set, rather than the first.

MAKE TOMORROWS SESSION BETTER

Studied for reduced muscle damage and soreness after hard training, and for restocking muscle glycogen faster when taken alongside carbohydrates.

It's not really just about how you feel the next day, but how well you can perform the next day. If you recover faster, you can train harder and more frequently.

LOCK IN THOSE BRAIN GAINS

Your brain runs on the same energy system your muscles do — roughly 2% of your bodyweight burning about 20% of your energy.

Measured effects on memory and mental fatigue are clearest in people who are short on sleep or do not eat much meat: the two groups with the least stored to begin with. Newer ground than the muscle research, and moving quickly.

AGE WITH GRACE (AND STRENGTH)

Muscle mass starts declining from your forties, and creatine is one of very few supplements with real evidence alongside resistance training for slowing that down.

It is also why creatine has quietly stopped being a young gymbros supplement. The people with the most to gain from it are often the ones who have never taken it.

Creatine works by saturating your muscles, which takes three to four weeks at 5g a day. Individual results vary.

LET'S BUST SOME MYTHS ABOUT CREATINE

The most researched supplement on earth also seems to have the most rumours & myths. Here is every one you've probably heard some "expert" on social media talking about, and what the actual science says...

  • Creatine pulls water into your muscle cells, not under your skin. If anything, your muscles are going to look more full which gives a better aesthetic - you won't just become a blobby watery mess. You may notice some weight gain on the scales but this is just water, chill.
  • This one has a real origin, so it deserves a real answer. Creatine breaks down into creatinine, and creatinine is exactly what a kidney blood test measures — so taking it can nudge that number up without anything being wrong with you. In healthy people, long-term studies have not found kidney damage. If you already have kidney problems, talk to your doctor first, the same as you would about anything else.
  • Traces back to one study, in 2009, of twenty rugby players, which found a rise in DHT after three weeks. It has never been replicated, and no study has ever measured actual hair loss from creatine. One study, twenty men, more than fifteen years ago - not really a solid basis right?
  • The classic "no son you can't take creatine that's like... a steroid right?!" - creatine is not a steroid or hormone, it naturally occurs in meat (like steak) and won't mess with your natural hormones. You're safe.
  • There is no evidence you need to. Cycling supplements is only really needed when you can build a tolerance to an active ingredient. Creatine relies on you being dosed up to work. Trials have run continuously for years without issue. Cycling just means spending a few weeks a year unsaturated for no reason.
  • Creatine works the same way in women as it does in men. Same mechanism, same muscle, same brain. Women typically start with lower natural stores, which is one reason research on creatine in women has grown so quickly. If anything, women may benefit from creatine supplementation than men!

The reality is, none of these rumours are actually supported by the science - creatine has a very well established safety profile and the benefits are massive. Just take it.

NOT ALL CREATINE IS THE SAME

Creatine monohydrate is creatine monohydrate - the molecule itself identical wherever you buy it. What is not identical is how finely it is ground, how clean it is, and if it's been sourced properly!

SERIOUS WHERE IT MATTERS

TOTAL TRANSPARENCY

You want to know if the creatine you're using is clean, pure, and worth your dollars.
We take the guesswork out of it. Here's what's in your tub, down to the behind-the-scenes info.

Serving size
1 scoop
Creatine supplement facts, per scoop
Ingredient Per scoop
Creatine Monohydrate 200 mesh, micronised 5,000mg

Other ingredients

Unflavoured contains creatine monohydrate and nothing else.

Strawberry and Island Breeze add natural flavours and colours, and sweeteners (sucralose, acesulfame potassium). The 5g of creatine is identical in all three.

One scoop a day in 400–500ml of water. Every day, including rest days.

Assayed against the USP monograph

Creatine monohydrate is the same molecule wherever you buy it. What differs is how clean it is, and whether anyone will show you.

This is the behind-the-scenes info for the batch in your tub. It is assayed against the United States Pharmacopeia monograph - the standard pharmaceutical ingredients are held to - in a laboratory accredited to ISO/IEC 17025. That is the international standard for testing competence, and the same accreditation independent houses like Eurofins and SGS work under.

Results are for the batch named above, and come from our manufacturer’s own ISO/IEC 17025-accredited laboratory rather than an outside one. Their facility is certified to FSSC 22000, ISO 22000 and HACCP. These figures describe the creatine as it is delivered to us.

Dicyandiamide and dihydrotriazine are by-products of creatine manufacturing; creatinine is what creatine breaks down into over time, and is the reason the kidney myth exists at all.

WHAT HAPPENS, AND WHEN

Creatine is the opposite of a pre-workout. Nothing happens on day one and you likely won't feel anything in particular which is exactly why people give up on it too early.

  1. DAY 1

    NOTHING. YET.

You will not feel a thing today. Creatine needs to build up it doesn't "kick in". Trust the process.

  2. WEEK 1

    FILLING THE TANK

Your muscles start storing it. The scales may move a little from water drawn into your muscle cells. Loading speeds this up.

  3. WEEKS 3–4

    YOU'RE SATURATED

Your creatine stores are full. In the gym, the last rep and the back half of a sprint. Some cognitive benefits start to show.

  4. ONGOING

    THE BORING BIT

Keep taking it, every day. If you stop your stores will drop and the benefits will fall off. Just build the habit.

  5. 6 MONTHS +

    THE BENEFITS

Your training has been better, recovery faster, brain working a little better. Everything is working as intended.

Timings are typical rather than promised. Bodyweight, how much red meat you eat and whether you load all move them around.

CHOOSE YOURS:

The best creatine is the one you're going to be able to take consistently. Pick yours:

  • STRAWBERRY

    SWEET, FRESH STRAWBERRY

The perfect universally loved flavour. Imagine biting into a freshly picked strawberry on a hot summers day... but you get all the benefits of creatine with it!

  • ISLAND BREEZE

    TROPICAL WITH A TWIST

Tropical is a great flavour, but it's a little basic. Island Breeze rocks a subtle wee coconut note so you can get your creatine in and feel like you're on an island holiday!

  • Unflavoured

    MIX WITH ANYTHING

You can rawdog this in a glass of water or toss it in with your protein, pre-workout, or electrolytes. Our unflavoured creatine mixes into anything without you even noticing.

QUESTIONS?

Flavoured or unflavoured — which should I get?

Unflavoured if you are already drinking something. It disappears into a shake, a juice or your pre-workout without touching the taste or the texture.

Flavoured if you would rather just have it in water and actually enjoy it. The 5g of creatine is identical either way - the only difference is how you want to take it!

What happens if I miss a day?

Nothing. A missed day isn't going to make a difference in the long run.

But, don't take this as an excuse to only take it occasionally - life get's busy and you occasionally will forget but taking it daily builds the creatine stores and the habit.

Is it vegan/vegetarian?

Yes. Creatine monohydrate is made synthetically rather than extracted from meat, so there is nothing animal-derived in any of the three.

Worth knowing if you do not eat meat: you are starting from lower natural stores than most people, and that is one of the groups where the research shows the clearest effect.

Can I put it in a hot drink?

You can, and warm liquid dissolves it better than cold. What you want to avoid is leaving it sitting in liquid for hours or days, because creatine slowly converts to creatinine in solution - faster when it is hot or acidic.

Mix it and drink it relatively quickly and you'll be sweet. If putting it in your coffee helps you take it, that's better than not having it at all!

Do I need to drink more water?

Drink normally. Creatine draws water into your muscle cells, but that does not leave the rest of you short, and there is no need to flush anything through.

The reason we say 400–500ml per serve is to get the powder properly dissolved.

That being said, most people these days don't drink enough water. So you should probably drink more anyway!

Can teenagers take it?

Creatine has been studied in adolescent athletes and the safety record is good, but that is a conversation for a parent and a GP rather than for a product page.

What we would say to any young athlete: food and sleep first. Creatine will not replace the basics but it will help if you've got that all dialled in!

The only creatine I buy! It’s so fine and can put it in anything and you wouldn’t even know it’s there. On my non training days when I’m not having it with preworkout, I just put it in some juice and you can’t even taste or feel any texture!

Customer photo review of UGLYFACE® CREATINE MONOHYDRATE

Really like this creatine. I was starting to feel a bit sick of taking plain, gritty creatine every day, so this has been a great change. I’d much rather pay a little extra for the flavour and actually enjoy taking it rather than have it feel like a chore every time. It is quite sweet, so if you’re not a big fan of sweetness, I’d recommend mixing it with a bit more water. Overall, really happy with it and will definitely buy again.

Customer photo review of UGLYFACE® CREATINE MONOHYDRATE

This creatine powder is the smoothest I've ever had, its not gritty at all and it mixes great. I've been using it more for the brain power to study than the pump in the gym and so far it hasn't let me down. The Island Breeze is a nice flavour, not too sweet.

UGLYFACE® CREATINE MONOHYDRATE

Store owner replied: Love to hear it! We really wanted to make our creatine flavours light and refreshing rather than super sweet so I'm glad to know we achieved that! Cheers, Cam
